Hello everyone, current and prospective puppy owners. We are beyond thankful for everyone who shows interest and who has been lucky enough to get one of our pups! That being said we are having to make some changes due to a series of unfortunate events. We strive to match the best families to their best puppy. We put lots of work, time, effort, tears, and money into this, and want what’s best for our puppies.
Starting off, we will be changing our contract. Our current contract is strong, but some things have popped up that I didn’t think I’d ever have to address, and therefor to protect our own integrity, we will be adding the following:
If a puppy owner chooses to use Banfield, Or Vetco (petco) as their main veterinary service, our health guarantee will be void. Our reasoning is due to the ONGOING complaints nationwide due to recommendations on things such as spaying and neutering ages, diet, and diagnosis without merit.
In the past our puppies went home at 8 weeks of age like most breeders, with one vet check, and one set of shots. Due to the consistent problem of at the puppies after they go home, business day, checkup, they get re-vaccinated even when not due, we will be keeping longer. Puppies will go home at 9.5 weeks of age, and have had 2 sets of vaccines, clear vet check, multiple fecals, and multiple dewormings. We will also be strictly requiring you take your puppy to the vet within 3 business days after receiving or your guarantee is voided in all scenarios, except case by case such as owner sickness or family event.
All puppies will be microchipped, with me, the breeder, on the contact list.
We will no longer approve households who use an underground fence as their means of potty and exercise. A fence, e collar HANDHELD training, or leash walks are required. This is 100% for safety of the dog.
We have a new puppy screening protocol, and application.
There will be a price increase due to the added costs of raising longer, and care, we are applying.
Our health guarantee will be voided by feeding “grocery store” dog food. We will be putting a flyer out of accepted dog foods, for all budgets, that have a good reputation of little to no recalls and success among our puppies. Fast growth, poor diet, all play a negative role in a dogs health.
